This might be helpful because of the things you mentioned like thoughts, hallucinations, dreams or voices that may not be resolved if you ran away.
You can be hurt or even killed away from the protection of your community, friends, and family. If you run out of money for food, be careful when begging. This will draw attention, and in some cases, upset other homeless.
Runaway (dependent)
Kids and teens who run away face new problems like not having any money, food to eat, a safe place to sleep, or anyone to look out for them. Think about your friends who are the lifeblood of your social circle. People you might be affecting someone by running away, try to think about them seriously. Disagreements happen with parents but love for you never changes for them. Think about the your family, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers. There are reasons why people would wish to run away from home.
These places are generally very rural, and make it easier for other people to victimize you. As romantic as it may seem, it's really hard to make a living off of the land nowadays, especially if you know nothing about plant and animal species. Try to find places with other people around; they're usually safer. Even if you do run away in a state that doesn't have laws against it, you could still find yourself in court.
Some even decide to leave without ever having a fight. They might have done something they're ashamed of, and they're afraid to tell their parents. Remember how you felt the last time you got in a big fight with your parents or one of your brothers or sisters? That kind of anger and hurt can be what pushes someone to run away from home.
For example, a judge is more likely to emancipate a minor who is trying to get away from an abusive parent than a minor who simply disagrees with a parent about a curfew. Now that you are making money from your internship, you need a way to get around the area you’re in. You can also purchase a bicycle and a bike lock. Do not bring your cellphone with you that is paid for by your parents.

A 2003 FBI study showed that there were 123,581 arrests for runaway youths in the United States.
We’re never going to judge you, we just want to help you think of options and resources. Kids who live on the streets often have to steal to meet basic needs. Many take drugs or alcohol to get through the day because they become so depressed and feel that no one cares about them. Some are forced to do things they wouldn't normally do to make money. The number of kids with HIV or AIDS and other diseases is higher on streets, too, because these kids might use IV drugs or have unprotected sex .
